The 32 inputs module is 165GBP (British pounds) plus 20GBP shipping to the US. 185GBP in total.
The 56 inputs module is 205GBP plus 28GBP shipping to the US. 233GBP in total.

two quick questions:

can i use a second hihat and hihat controller with that module?

do i have to make sure (like with roland modules) not to have the hihat pedal pressed in any way when switching the modules power on?

thanks a lot.

At the moment second HiHat controller is not supported but if several people ask for this feature I will implement it.

You can have the pedal in any position when powering MegaDrum on.

Hi dmitri,

first of all, warm gratz for what you achieved so far. I tried to come to some king of same result on my own, and i have to say that this is more than a nightmare :).

then, I'm about to make a decision : buying a kit from you. I have some few easy questions :
1- why don't you use a STM32f4 running at 172Mhz instead of the stm32f2 running at 120Mhz ?
2- do you have some recommendations regarding the housing case for 32 and 56 inputs versions ? (Farnell, Mouser, Rs-Online, ...)
3- how long should I wait before I receive my MD, once my order and payment are done ?

and an additional one, XX version means XX piezo, not XX TRS plugs ?

thanks

Even STM32F2 at 120MHz is far more then enough. I still release new firmware versions for old Atmega based MegaDrums running at 20MHz with most of the features as STM32F2.

You can use pretty much any case in which you can fit the kit and all input jacks you plan to use.

3- how long should I wait before I receive my MD, once my order and payment are done ?

It can take up to 7 days to build and send a module after receiving a payment.
it can take up to 4 days to solder and send a kit after receiving a payment.

It's the maximum number of inputs. E.g. the 56 inputs module has 29 jacks:
1 - for HiHat controller
1 - for Kick
27 stereo jacks which you can use with 27 dual/triple zone pads/cymbals or with 54 single zone pads/cymbals using Y-splitter cables or any combination in between.

thanks for your reply,
so kick and hihat are mono jacks.
will hihat work on mono jack if I go with a hall effect variable stuff plus a piezo for hits ?

Kick input is mono.
HiHat controller (pedal) is stereo - tip for signal, ring for power. You plug HiHat cymbal into a separate HiHat (or any other) stereo jack.
