Hi dmitri
I'm interested in a 56 or at least 48 input megadrum and I'm sure you can build it a lot faster than I can. There is one specific demand that has to be fulfilled though; I need a key on when cv gets high and a key off when low. What is your suggestion?

What are a "key" and "cv"?

sorry for the ambiguity, for me a key=midi note message, and by cv I mean control voltage, which is what you get from a trigger. Im my case I need some inputs to react on a switch allowing a current to pass or not. Can the megadrum do that?

If two adjacent head/bow and rim/edge inputs configured as DualHead and the rim/edge input is set to 'Switch' then this input can be configured to send MIDI Aftertouch On/Off messages when the switch is pressed/released. You will have to map these Aftertouch messages to Note On/Off messages in software you want to use it with (if it allows to do it).

surely the software will be able to remap aftertouch but as I understand it I would need 96 inputs (48 dualhead) to handle 48 aftertouch signals, right?

You can connect two switches to the same edge input with one of the switches connected over a 10k resistor as it is done in Yamaha 3 zone cymbals. In this case you can configure two separate notes on these two switches on the same edge input. See http://www.megadrum.info/content/settin ... one-cymbal
Please note, out of 56 inputs one is used for a HiHat pedal and one for a mono Kick input. All other 54 inputs can be used for the goal you need.

I'm interested in one of your modules build by yourself : can you tell me if, they're ready to play or what i must do before playing (for example : Programming PIC18F2550 ?or... installing the firmware) ? (i already know how to trigger sounds from my pc or drummodule because i already own another module) ?

Can you tell me the maximum number of config and drum maps we can save with the Atmega1284 or Atmega644, in the case of using the 56 inputs ? Can you tell me this too for the Atmega1284 with 32 inputs ?

thank you very much from france !

It's ready to be used, no programming is required.

For Atmega1284 with MaxInputs set to 46-56 max number of configs/drum maps is 4
For Atmega1284 with MaxInputs set to 38-44 max number of configs/drum maps is 5
For Atmega1284 with MaxInputs set to 32-36 max number of configs/drum maps is 6
For Atmega1284 with MaxInputs set to 28-30 max number of configs/drum maps is 7
For Atmega1284 with MaxInputs set to 24-28 max number of configs/drum maps is 8
For Atmega1284 with MaxInputs set to 20-22 max number of configs/drum maps is 9
For Atmega1284 with MaxInputs set to 18-20 max number of configs/drum maps is 10

For Atmega644 each is twice less.

After all i don't know if i'm really interested with one of your products because i only use Roland double zone pads and it seems that they don't work properly with megadrum without modifing them. And i don't want to modify them (warranty)

thanks
