Hi hat problems. Plays the last sound hit every time.

Hey guys I’m sorry if that has been solved already here, but I couldn’t find it anywhere on this site. I tried all weekend to find the solution before posting.

So I’ve got a self built kit im ruining through my MD and all is fantastic.

But I recently bought a new hi hat controller, had had been working great up until i made some changes after I re wired everything.

Now when using the hat, it will for some reason play the last drum I hit. So if I hit the snare, the hat will start triggering the snare….

I for the life of me can’t figure out why it is doing this. Is it something simple that I’m just missing?

Can you please describe it in more details as I don't quite understand this description.
