Updated firmware success! Used command line mdfwupdate.exe megadrum1284_56_20210520.bin. Tried MegaDrum Manager FX for firmware upgrade but did not work for me. Greatly appreciate all the help.

hello there! just joined this website.. and i must say its just amazing!!

I have a 56 input Atmega 644 unit. Firmware is 20111006, 20MHz.
I can’t seem to update to the latest found firmware for that unit, 20140809. I tried through the MegaDrumManagerFX.
I cant download the older MegaDrumManager either.
Do you have a solution?

Did you try to follow viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1252 ?

Yes.
The process stopped up. Last lines of the cmd window:

Transferring.. - 0% done.Read 0 bytes (error?)
Retrying on CRC error
Transferring.. - 0% done

Meanwhile the MegaDrum unit went out of update modus.

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1252 procedure works 100% of times if followed exactly and there is no hardware damage to USB or to the module. Please describe each step you do when following the instructions.
