3 zone cymbal support, Yamaha style. How many of you need it

3 zone cymbals, Yamaha style. Do you want me to add support for them in MegaDrum?

I have both MegaDrum and Yamaha cymbals, please do it.

I have Yamaha cymbal. Lack of Yamaha 3 zone cymbals support is a showstopper for building MegaDrum.

I have MegaDrum. If you do it, I'll buy 3 zone cymbals Yamaha style.

I have MegaDrum. I'll live happily without support for such cymbals.

If you do it, I will rebuild all my DIY cymbals to have the Yamaha 3zone design.

I have neither of them, only 2 (3 at most) persons have MegaDrum, your poll is stupid.

Dmitri, in my case the problem appears ONLY when the trimpot VR1 is turned to decrease the signal from box piezo, if i turn the vr1 pot at the minium resistance ( near the + ) the problem disappear, by the way a strong signal from piezo can may cause a lot problems regarding the dynamics of cymbals and crosstalk with other channels, so for megadrum is appropriate to attenuate signals strong.

I believe it's a problem of management/recognizing from Megadrum firmware, my kit is the 3.2v by synthex and i don't have shortcuts/bad soldering etc...

For last do you try with pcy135 ? The 135 and 150 have two different schematics for the edge switch, the 150s only one switch, the pcy135 have 2 edge switch , one for edge triggering and another for choke.

Der_wolff do you have the same problem?

Yes, 2 edge ribbons. But I don`t think they`re for different tasks. It`s just one switch made of two parts to easily cover the whole circle. They made it like that probably because of easier production or costs of production ...

I am not referring to the number of edge switches on the edge, but I mean that even if dmitri has no problems on his PCY135 is not possible to make a comparison with 150 probably because they have two different configurations, otherwise it should work.

So the two switch edge switch i think have a parallel connection ?

Is strange, because only if the VR1 is turned on the middle the problem appears, i will try with a external voltage divider with vr1 at the top.

Everson i have a couple of LMC6032, i will try soon the circuit for voltage rectifier ;) .
