Beta testing for a totally new sampling/triggering alg

I always had problems to get good triggering with my pads, modified Millenium pads with a center Roland cone and mesh head.

Thanks to the beta firmware I can now see the trigger wave of the pads (Minscan set to 60 ms).

I tested three different pads, the waves look similar between the pads but they look pretty different from what I see in the first post.
I can imagine this wave makes it more difficult to trigger well.

Q1: can be seen from these scans if the pads are too hot (although voltage divider 50% is present)?

Q2: what is your opinion what might be wrong with the piezo/cone/head setup?

1. Based on the look of the waveforms - no signal clipping - the pads are not too hot.

The velocities were not consistent, big variations not corresponding to the actual hits at the same head area.

I have not tried configuring the pads with latest or beta firmware, I will do that.
But improving the waveform will probably make configuration easier.
